<br />
<br />
It is a sad day. I have enjoyed everyday I have had with every one of my readers since I was twelve. I will still be around, but not in the same way.<br />
<br />
<br />
But it has to be done.<br />
<br />
<br />
I do not have the money to keep purchasing cards like I used to and that means I really do not have much to talk about in this spectrum of the blogosphere<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>BUT....</b></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
My friend and I, <a href="http://andrewsbaseballcards.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: red;">Andrew</span></a>, are starting a new blog that we will run together.<br />
<br />
<br />
And we are very excited. As we have gotten older, Andrew and I have enjoyed visiting new ballparks in our area and getting autographs in person at these games.<br />
<br />
Thus we are making a new blog called.....<br />
<br />
Drum roll please....<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<a href="https://ballparkbreadown.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: red; font-size: large;">Baseball Ballpark Breakdown</span></a><br />
<br />
<br />
Check it out when you get the chance! Tell your friends, neighbors, even your cat! We will do reviews of ballparks we attend, and the players we meet and get autographs from.<br />
<br />
It will be fun and I hope you choose to join us on the ride.<br />
<br />
Anyways, I love you guys and everything this place has done for me, but it is time to move on. Peace out everybody. Superduperman out.Weston DeShonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02635994201891124258noreply@blogger.com29tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5691759855404840756.post-22792233956928776242016-04-20T17:10:00.000-07:002016-05-09T17:06:50.065-07:00Going Green2015 Bowman. That is some crazy stuff right there. Especially the retail. Both myself and my best friend <a href="http://andrewsbaseballcards.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">Andrew</span></a> can attest to that claim.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Before I get too ahead of myself, welcome back to Fantastic Catch. Thank you for stopping by. I really do appreciate everybody who does stop by and gives me a read. I do not tell you guys and gals that enough. I truly do appreciate your support and readership.<br />
<br />
<br />
Now back to the original insight behind this post, the wackiness of 2015 Bowman.<br />
<br />
<br />
Walmart, the root of most retail baseball cards and root of many evils. Let me just first say, that any time you have cards on sale, you have my attention. And these boxes that were on sale were a steal. Normally $10 hanger boxes of 2015 Bowman were now $6 for a yippy and giddy me.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://cdn.topps.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/2000x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/b/o/bowmanthing.png" height="320" width="320" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I do not like to admit this but there may have been about say 10-15 of these boxes laying around. And Andrew and I may have bought every single one. It was my cheat day. Just kidding.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Either way every last one of these boxes was a complete blast to open and you shall soon find out why. And it may have to do with the title as you might suspect.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="2015-Bowman-Chrome-JORDAN-LUPLOW-AUTO-99-Green-Refractor-Pirates-Rookie-Card" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/LUgAAOSwFMZWsQQJ/s-l500.jpg" height="320" width="240" /><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
BOOM!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
2015 Bowman Chrome Green Refractor Jordan Luplow Auto 80/99</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Ranked as the 26th best prospect in the Pirates system per MLB.com, Jordan has started out the year modestly. The 2014 3rd Round Pick has a .231 average with 8 RBI's and 7 Walks in 39 Plate Appearances. Not too shabby. A lot better than I could do. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
If anybody is interested, this card is for trade.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But that is not all.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="2015-BOWMAN-CHROME-GREEN-REFRACTOR-AUTOGRAPH-ADRIAN-RONDON-72-99-HOT-PROSPECT" height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/T-AAAOSwzgRWynTB/s-l500.jpg" width="228" /><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
DOUBLE BOOM!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Another one. I was just beating every pack odds on these discounted hanger packs. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
2015 Bowman Chrome Green Refractor Adrian Rondon Autograph 71/99</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Not going to lie, I did not know anything about this kid before I looked him up. Turns out he was the number one ranked prospect in all of the 2014 International Signing Class. I was pretty stoked after I read that. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Not going to lie again either, but he sucked in his first season. In GCL ball last year, he batted .166. Granted he is only 17, (I wish I had gotten a 2.95 million signing bonus on my 16th birthday) Adrian has plenty of time to figure it out and become a top notch prospect. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
As of right now I think I am going to keep this card. We will see how impatient I get as I hold onto it.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But there you have it. Absolutely insane if you ask me. Both Andrew and I had a blast busting all of these and seeing what we got. I cannot wait for 2016 Bowman to come out.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And yes we did recycle the boxes, for those of you who were wondering.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Thanks so much for stopping by everybody and giving my blog a read. It means so much to me that you guys stick around and read. God Bless. Super Duper...out.</div>

<br />
<br />
Us collectors, especially us bloggers, are quite wary when it comes to Topps' tricks and continuous laziness. I cannot name how many times I have seen the same photo in a different set, yet just cropped differently. You would think with all the advancements in technology, we could at least find a way to find a different photo of some of the most famous athletes in America.<br />
<br />
<br />
Bowman should be no different, yet as I was going through my cards the other day, I discovered Mr. Roman Quinn in two different products. With the same EXACT photo.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/QzkAAOSwNSxVUN5b/s-l300.jpg" width="226" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2015 Bowman Prospects #BP7</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="2015-Bowman-Draft-102-Roman-Quinn-Phillies" height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/arEAAOSwB4NWv2ix/s-l500.jpg" width="240" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2015 Bowman Draft #102</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
First off, the fact that Bowman Draft contains prospects that were not drafted from that year is counter-intuitive of the products name. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And secondly, I do not know why you could not just use a different photo. Pretty lazy/crazy if you ask me. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I found this one with a quick search on google and all ya got to do is airbrush the helmet, which is what Topps does with everything.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="242" src="http://www.csnphilly.com/sites/csnphilly/files/styles/large/public/usa-romanquinn-phillies-arizonafallleague-afl2.jpg?itok=uvvKDfqA" width="320" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Oh well. Maybe Topps will learn a thing or two from us collectors some day. But until that day comes, I'll still be here collecting 3 different cards of Roman Quinn with the same photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I hope everybody has a super duper day and God Bless!</div>

Anybody Home?Wow, where do I start? Soccer. Job. School. Church. Girlfriend. Dang. Life has me busy, but have no fear, I have not forgotten about you guys.<br />
<br />
I know I try to do this every year and I may not be able to fully commit to again to it this year, but I am trying to kick off the dust with the 'ole blog.<br />
<br />
<br />
It is crazy but it feels like I never left.<br />
<br />
<br />
I know that is hard to imagine, but the blogging community is amazing. I have continued to receive generous care packages from fellow bloggers while I remained nonexistent. Shout out to my good buddy Will on that last part.<br />
<br />
<br />
And while my blog remained dormant, my collecting has not. It has just sort of evolved to fit my ever busy lifestyle. Although I still do love my beloved Redbirds, my collection has dwindled of present cards. In their place, I have amped up my passion for following minor league baseball.<br />
<br />
<br />
I guess I just have an infatuation with the future.<br />
<br />
<br />
Being a teenager today, I am all always looking forward just like my fellow millennials. It may just come with the age. I don't know, but I can say this. I love the next best thing and that includes prospects in minor league baseball.<br />
<br />
<br />
This has changed my approach to TTMing with sports cards as well. I want to acquire a minor league card of every minor league guy out there and get it signed. Hopefully inspiring with the word of Christ in the meantime.<br />
<br />
<br />
And although many of those autographs will be worthless, there will always be the players that are the diamonds in the rough. Which are my favorite of all the minor leaguers out there.<br />
<br />
<br />
To this day I continue on my quest in my Rookie Card Challenge. Do not think I have given up on that yet like my Cardinals collecting. The basic principle of acquiring a rookie card of every player since my first year of collection in 2010 is nostalgic to me.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I get the chance to look back and creepily realize how old I have become and see the maturation of these players into the players they are today. See who survived and who did not. And realize how much the game and collecting has changed.<br />
<br />
<br />
And I guess you could say that is an accurate representation of my blog too. I can look back on my writings from when I was 12 and see how much, I would not say matured, but none the less say I have changed to the 17 year old I am today.<br />
<br />
<br />
So thank you rookie cards. Thank you minor leaguers. And most importantly thank you bloggers. I am (hopefully) on my way back. God Bless!<br />
<br />
(P.S) Sorry about not having any pictures pictures in this post. Next one should have plenty.Weston DeShonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02635994201891124258noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5691759855404840756.post-23499968632855037592015-07-09T15:42:00.001-07:002015-07-09T15:42:03.477-07:00Finally Off Hiatus Geez where do I start? Laziness, poor use of time, family matters. I don't know. I guess none of that hatters though because I am finally back.... With a revised me. I'll explain, don't worry.<br />
<br />
This feels so weird. It's been way too long. I have won contests, made trades, and all sorts of things I've never taken the time to post about. What a shame. I'm telling ya. I'll (hopefully) get to it though.<br />
<br />
Anyway enough with the nostalgic rambling. Revised me. Got to stay on task here. As I was away, I was still in the hobby, but in a different way. I gave myself a different perspective on how I collect and what I do. To get to the point, what I have decided to do now with my collection is focus on my rookie cards and my TTM's. Something that I have always loved the most out of collecting sports cards.<br />
<br />
Although you the reader don't get to view my TTM's visually (which I need to get fix at some point) that is a prevalent part of my collecting "lifestyle" so to speak. I have a massive binder dedicated to guys I have yet to send out to. And they are all cards of minor leaguers!<br />
<br />
Since this has become more relevant to my collecting style now, I would surely like to reach out to every minor leaguer I could. That calls for some desperate measures. That is one reason why I am cutting down on most of my Cardinals cards collecting and putting up a want list of minor league cards I need instead.<br />
<br />
Building upon that, I would continue to also look more in depth to my rookie card collection. It's a tough project I have going on here considering I've all but halted trying to set collect. The only product I've actually bought a pack of this year is Bowman. Yikes! I know.<br />
<br />
I'll have to rejuvenate the blog with some new life I suppose now that I've returned. Get a new picture at the top, update the good 'ole tabs. Man, it's nice to be back. <br />
<br />
And yeah that's about it. I haven't done too much more while I've been away. Card related that is. Sorry I don't have any pictures for you. Makes for a boring post. Sorry!<br />
<br />
I hope everybody has been soakin up to summer weather! I know I have. I'll be back tomorrow with a trade post of sorts so stay tuned!Weston DeShonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02635994201891124258noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5691759855404840756.post-22363243761033072052015-03-26T14:20:00.003-07:002015-03-26T14:20:50.637-07:00Minor League Want ListMinor League Baseball Want List:<br />
<br />
As you guys might know already, I am really into the TTM side of the hobby.<br />
<br />
If you don't know what TTM. Basically you send letters to some of your favorite athletes asking for their autograph and if you're lucky they will open your letter and sign whatever you sent them.<br />
<br />
Getting back on track, I am making a want list for minor leaguers that I don't have cards of yet.<br />
<br />
Another way to look at is that I'm taking those cards of minor leaguers that won't pan out and give you cards that you actually want in return.<br />
<br />
I'm excited to get this up and going. I hope it helps me reach an even larger radius of players while giving you cards that you hopefully need.<br />
<br />
Now your next step. Click that tab above and check and see if you can't help me out.<br />
<br />
Then after that comment here or in the tab or email at Superduperman99@yahoo.com and we can see if we can't work something out.<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by and reading. Stay safe and God Bless!<br />

<img height="320" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/5108VUeaYxL._SY344_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg" width="211" /></div>
<br />
Truthfully this is probably one of the best books I've ever read. It was everything I love in baseball.<br />
<br />
Minor league baseball. Quirkiness. The challenges of making the big leagues. And the characters associated with the big business we know as sports.<br />
<br />
To give you a bit more information about the book. I'll of course have to start from the beginning.<br />
<br />
Matt McCarthy was a left handed pitcher coming out of Yale.<br />
<br />
Threw a 92 mph fastball and other typical stuff. But as you might expect he isn't your typical hot shot prospect.<br />
<br />
Drafted in the 21st round of the 2001 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels, Matt gives you a great view of what a minor leaguer deals with throughout their career.<br />
<br />
Assigned to Rookie level ball with the now extinct Provo Angels, Matt was in the heart of Mormon country.<br />
<br />
You can only imagine what stories came from that.<br />
<br />
Since he went to Yale, Matt was a pretty smart cookie. Basically just trying to continue his dream of playing baseball for a living.<br />
<br />
Yet what he runs into in the Angels minor league system is your key to the deep dark depths of the minor leagues and the heart of the steroid era.<br />
<br />
Inside stories on current and former major leaguers such as Joe Saunders, Bobby Jenks, Joe Blanton and many more.<br />
<br />
I can't tell all about the story though. So I'll leave the rest for you to read if you decide to pick up a copy of your own<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by and reading. Hope everybody has a great rest of their week and God Bless!<br />
<br />Weston DeShonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02635994201891124258noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5691759855404840756.post-58002362768250914512015-03-09T18:25:00.000-07:002015-03-09T18:25:40.713-07:00Group Break Update and Other MusingsThe group break is all but over. It was a lot of fun, but it's still not over yet. I sent out the first wave of packages last week and hope to send out another wave this week. Although it has been slow and methodical, I decided to let the results of the group break be a surprise to you.<br />
<br />
Yet there are still some that I don't have address and or haven't paid yet. Here's that list currently.<br />
<br />
Matt McCurry (Reds)-Address<br />
hiflew (Rockies)-Address and Payment<br />
Ken Damon (Indians)-Address and Payment<br />
Jeff Laws (White Sox)-Address<br />
<br />
That is all. If you are one of the said people above, I'll gladly get your cards out to you once the above is fulfilled.<br />
<br />
<br />
Ok now that's done. There were a few nice hit(s) from unclaimed teams in the group break as well and here are those.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/proxy/AVvXsEjGkFF4XUZleQFLaYi7BJ29Viz0GtpCZDtLKUFgiVhVpTvSh8TiJR6AU5PUuVpCvvuwnrRqwZPDRtYjZiEjaolaY-U1QsXj9gdyfit9V5oIFYaDTmqZ1H9Q38nv9XItykTNuNnU4lrYDDUbDEGYNiJstVAskBaQEMJx4vYxlu4rLFNO=" width="237" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Mr Homeless Man for the Blue Jays. Just kidding, but he's actually a highly touted prospect for the Blue Jays and should do well in the MLB this year. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I plan on selling this, but if one of those Blue Jays collectors makes an offer I can't refuse then I'll move it.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The rest I will leave as a surprise for those who were involved with the break.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And for the musings. So my favorite time of the year is about to begin and I can't contain my excitement. This will most likely be pretty disappointing for all of you, but the MLS soccer season has finally begun. This past weekend all 20 teams played, and I had a ball watching all of them show off their new kits and new players.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The league is really starting to turn around with bringing back big name US players to play in their prime or their careers. Names like Clint Dempsey, Jozy Altidore, Mix Diskerud, Micheal Bradley, and the list keeps going on and on. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My Chicago Fire still suck though. They got clobbered by the reigning champions LA Galaxy 2-0. We'll see if the "big name players" they brought in over the offseason actually turn the team around from their dismal previous season.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
All I can say is that it will be a very exciting 20th season for MLS. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Well I know it has been a long time, and this doesn't seem like much of a post, but I hope it revitalizes my spirit for blogging once again. I hope everybody has a great week and God Bless!</div>

<br />
<br />
Yet what you didn't know is that I also won.<br />
<br />
Weird. I know.<br />
<br />
For once Tom Brady and the Patriots actually helped me out.<br />
<br />
I was the winner of this year's version of the Almost Easiest Super Bowl Contest in the World held by our very own Collector's Crack.<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyways, Mark was super gracious and gave a very undeserving prize for guessing that the Patriots would win with the total points being like 26 or something like that. All I know is I won and that's super cool because I hardly win any contests.<br />
<br />
<br />
So enough blabbling, let me reveal the prizes.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="Reggie-Wayne-Indianapolis-Colts-2013-Topps-Ribbons-CAMO-TEAM-LOGO" height="225" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDUzWDY0MA==/z/8FcAAOSwj0NUflHW/$_12.JPG" width="320" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="2014-Topps-Prime-Zach-Mettenberger-Quad-3-Color-Patch-Auto-Rc" height="240" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDAyWDUzNA==/z/q3sAAOSwZjJU4Rq4/$_12.JPG" width="320" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="232" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTE2MFgxNjAw/z/EjEAAOSwcu5UTaDL/$_57.JPG" width="320" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wow....That surely has to be it. Right?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA1Mlg3NDg=/z/X-gAAOSwxYxUzpCQ/$_57.JPG" width="227" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Wrong. It took an extended period of time to return my jaw back into its normal position. All I did was guess who was going to win the Super Bowl. I sure as heck wasn't expecting this.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Mark, thank you so much for the cards. I can't even express in words how appreciate it.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I hope everybody is staying warm with all that snow out there. I know I'm relishing it. No school baby!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Thanks for stopping by and drive safe! </div>

<br />
He is a great trader and I can't wait to see what he thinks of the cards I sent him. Either way if you haven't given him a follow yet, you are definitely missing out.<br />
<br />
Moving on though, Matt was very generous and spared me a few of those (beloved) RedBirds.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_cnJvHwukrzs/TTuuoGVVXuI/AAAAAAAAA4Q/jBg-rgEQQtc/2010-Topps-Chrome-Anderson-RC-Auto_t.jpg?imgmax=800" width="230" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
First up, Brian Anderson. Truthfully off the top of head, I don't know too much about Mr.Anderson. I know he played catcher for the Cardinals. And I know he played for the Cardinals, but not anymore. So on that depressing note, let us move on.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="2007-Topps-2006-Highlights-Relics-ALR-Anthony-Reyes-Jersey-NM-MT" height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/Njk0WDUwMA==/z/7n0AAOSwVFlUHUZR/$_12.JPG" width="230" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Ahhhh the infamous Anthony Reyes. Thought to be at one time to become a far more supreme pitcher than Adam Wainwright. I will admit that he did quite an integral rule in the '06 World Series run, but he didn't amount to much after that. Nice white swatch though. Probably a piece of underwear or something. I sure hope its not.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/z/27wAAOxyM89ScWPj/$(KGrHqR,!jgFJsiUGB1rBScWPiEWbQ~~60_57.JPG" width="240" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
BOOM!!! The grand finale. Matt outdid himself. This was totally unnecessary, but I will make sure it has a nice home here at the Fantastic Catch residence. I just hope what I sent his way will be enough because this was definitely a lot!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And I don't think I need to give you a rundown of who Matt Carpenter is. If you don't know who is well...shame one you. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Once again I want to reach out to Matt and thank him so much again for the great cards. Thanks for stopping by and God Bless! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

Oh My!A little while back, my best friend and I Andrew from Andrews Baseball Cards decided to exchange Christmas presents.<br />
<br />
It's always a fun time for each year because we typically have no clue what we are going to get from one another.<br />
<br />
This year didn't disappoint either.<br />
<br />
I don't know if he posted about what I got him, but I know when we did this he enjoyed every minute of it.<br />
<br />
Yet I can't remember what I got him, so I'll just have to present to you what he gifted to me.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAyMFg3MjY=/z/2esAAOSwnDZULzhX/$_57.JPG" width="227" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Signed out of Venezuela in 2010, Mr. Valera here has flown through the Cardinals minor league system. He just finished his first year of AA ball at the sprightly young age of 22. That's pretty good if you ask me.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Although he has swung the bat well through the ball parks he's been too, he doesn't project to be much more than a Daniel Descalso esque player. Just minus some of the fielding Daniel had and add it too his hitting, and that is basically what you have in Breyvic.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Either way it will be fun to see how he develops.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="2013-Gypsy-Queen-Auto-Lance-Lynn-Ole-Miss-Cardinals-Mississippi-EX-St-Louis" height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzA5WDUxNg==/z/t3MAAOSwRLZT3pIZ/$_12.JPG" width="232" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And now time to bring out the big guns. Andrew was very gracious in helping me find a card I have been on the hunt for for quite a while. Lance Lynn you have finally been captured. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
As some of you may know, I am a big Lance Lynn fan. He was one of the first Cardinals I got to meet face to face and he came up the same year I started collecting, 2011.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So to obtain a card of this magnitude means a lot to me. So thank you very much Andrew.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And that doesn't even cover what he got me for my birthday.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This bad boy...</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/z/enAAAOxyf1dTHR0Q/$_57.JPG" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="240" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Photo courtesy of eBay</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
2013 1st Round Pick Robert Kaminsky. My second auto of him to be exact. Numbered out of 210, this is truly one sweet card. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Rob played his first full year a A Peoria and if he stays long enough into next year, I'm hoping to watch him play in person.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I cannot wait to see him in the Cardinals rotation in the near future.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Well that's all I have for you today folks. I'm still in the holidays mode, so if you see more Christmas and New Year's posts pop up you'll know why. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Hope everybody has a great week! Thanks for stopping by and God Bless!</div>

I seem to be anymore now.<br />
<br />
Yet not to be too drab. I must say that this year was quite the year.<br />
<br />
Although I didn't think the deals were as good as they were last year, I had some fun picking up some great cards.<br />
<br />
So let's cut to the chase.<br />
<br />
I know you all love baseball, but I have to give my favorite football team some love. The Indianapolis Colts.<br />
<br />
And I don't even want to talk about what happened last Sunday. That was bad.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Trying to make myself a Dwayne Allen jersey. Just kidding, but that would be quite the challenge. The right is a patch card and I got both of these close to $1. I just couldn't pass them up.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTEyM1g3NTY=/z/6o0AAOSwDk5UKfbi/$_57.JPG" height="320" width="214" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
He and Marvin Harrison were tearing it up back in the day. If I would have to give the upper hand to one of them, I would surely be Mr. Wayne here. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA1M1g3NjA=/z/R2EAAOSwmLNTmNFH/$_57.JPG" height="320" width="230" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="JHX-2011-PLATES-PATCHES-ANTHONY-CASTONZO-111-RC-ROOKIE-AUTOGRAPH-100-COLTS" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDA4WDU1Mg==/z/E9QAAOSwuMFUZZKV/$_12.JPG" height="236" width="320" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTExOFg4MTQ=/z/iIUAAOxykUZTicKB/$_57.JPG" height="320" width="232" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My unintentional player collection of Anthony Castonzo is growing. It's hard to pass up starting offensive linemen autographs for $1.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<br />
I think that about does it for the football side of my order. Now onto my beloved Redbirds.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA0NFg3NDA=/z/rukAAOxyVX1Rwcsv/$T2eC16JHJIQE9qUHrVh-BRwcsvF(fQ~~60_57.JPG" width="141" /><img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA0NFg3MzI=/z/eHsAAOxy66pRwK8j/$(KGrHqZ,!q!FG-Dd8Hh1BRwK8j,C7w~~60_57.JPG" style="text-align: left;" width="140" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Inching my way closer to completing this autograph set. Now only need the big names like Piscotty and Ramsey.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Alex Mejia was drafted out of the University of Arizona and was the Cardinals 4th round draft choice in 2012. This past year he just finished AA Springfield with a .270 average and .326 OBP. Should be quality depth to the Cardinals in a few years.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Cory Jones was the Cardinals 5th round selection in 2012 and wasn't too good this year in A+ Palm Beach. He got injured in May hasn't come back since. He's only 23 so he has a little time to figure it out.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAxMVg2ODc=/z/hlIAAOxyi-ZTXowH/$_57.JPG" width="135" /><img alt="2012-CHARLIE-TILSON-BOWMAN-PLATINUM-GREEN-REFRACTOR-AUTO-REF-AUTOGRAPH-RC-399" height="149" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDE3WDU1OQ==/$(KGrHqF,!q0FCzVFlZGqBQ8M)K0)gw~~60_12.JPG" style="text-align: left;" width="200" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Now here is a Cardinals prospect I am excited about. He tore up A+ Palm Beach this year and got promoted to AA Springfield at the age of 22. He has electric speed and once he is ready for the bigs, it will give John Mozeliak even more headaches.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
If he makes the Cardinals, he'll most likely be my newest player collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="2011-Bowman-Chrome-BCP183-Jordan-Swagerty-On-Card-Auto-Autograph" height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzYwWDU2Mw==/z/LGwAAOxyUI1TJ5Za/$_12.JPG" width="148" /><img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMTM0/z/jTkAAOSwDk5T8~iE/$_57.JPG" style="text-align: left;" width="141" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Probably my two favorite Cardinals prospects of all time.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Jordan Swagerty is somewhat of a bust, never making it to the bigs while being drafted in the 2nd round, but how you go wrong when your last name is Swagerty. That's just plain cool.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Adron Chambers is a fighter. He always played the game as if it were his last. He was part of the amazing 2011 World Series run. He is the epitome of never giving up. He was drafted in the 38th round of the 2007 Draft and hasn't given up since. He proved everyone wrong when he cracked the Cardinals roster a few years ago.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
That about does it for this year's Black Friday COMC purchases. I hope everybody found some incredible deals themselves. I know I enjoyed it. Merry Christmas everybody! Stay safe out there and God Bless!</div>

Another Orioles Blog</span></a> in my mailbox.<br />
<br />
He sent it extremely fast I'll have you know.<br />
<br />
It also knocked off quite a few pesky wants off my want list.<br />
<br />
Instead of talking about it let us cut right to the chase.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51XgNYFeb0L._SY300_.jpg" height="200" width="143" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
Captain Injury here completes my 2011 Bowman Team Set.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

<br /></div>
<div>
<strike>MMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!</strike></div>
<div>
<strike><br /></strike></div>
<div>
RRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!<br />
<br />
2 big names knocked off the list. Only have like 5 more to look for for Tanaka. Thanks Topps. That Arencibia is very nice to get knocked off the list as well. He was a tough one to find.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA1MVg3NTY=/z/6~wAAOSwaNBUj2i3/$_57.JPG" height="200" width="143" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
The Cardinals 2013 1st Round Draft Pick, Marco Gonzales truly seemed like a wannabe Michael Wacha. The kid came up the same year he was drafted and definitely did not pan out the same as Wacha. I guess you can't hit the jack pot on every pick.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAzMlg3MjA=/z/Au0AAOSwDN1UT2Kk/$_57.JPG" height="320" width="222" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
And it's always a good day when you get a new Yadier Molina.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Ryan thank you so much for the package and I will gets yours on the way as soon as possible.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Thanks for reading guys and I hope everybody finishes out the week and enjoys their weekend! </div>

Finals are approaching quickly and I am not looking forward to them.<br />
<br />
Black Friday passed and I spent crap load of money in terms of my budget. I did get my boxes in from DA Card World, but that's for another post.<br />
<br />
Yet, I feel like there this is this massive void in my life. No baseball and no soccer. Its almost like I hit a wall.<br />
<br />
That's where baseball cards come into play.<br />
<br />
So to keep myself busy and give myself some goals to strive for this winter, I have come to the conclusion of making a checklist.<br />
<br />
So here we go: My Goals For This Winter Checklist<br />
<br />
O Revamp the ole Blog<br />
<br />
O Reconstruct Want List<br />
<br />
O Sell/Trade Unwanted Cards<br />
<br />
O Start a Group Break<br />
<br />
O Make Some New Friends<br />
<br />
O Have Fun<br />
<br />
And since you guys struggled through all that, I thought I might reward you for your services with a sneak peek at what incredible card I got in my boxes. It has something a little to do with this guy.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://marinersblog.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/griffey_rookieyr.jpg" width="222" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Well I hope everybody enjoys their weekend, and I'll try to keep in touch. Thanks for reading and God Bless!</div>

I am back to share with you a few ways to earn some free $$$. No, this isn't some spam thing that will kill your computer. I promise. These things are called Swagbucks.<br />
<br />
Some of you may have already heard of these, but Swagbucks are credits you earn from doing various activities. Anywhere from taking surveys to watching videos. It's really easy too.<br />
<br />
All I have done is downloaded the Swagbucks TV app and when I'm not using my phone, I run the videos. The best part is you don't even have to watch them.<br />
<br />
I've just redeemed my credits the other day for a $25 Amazon gift card. Crazy I know.<br />
<br />
If this is something you'd be interested in, click the link below and get an account set up. Tell them Superduperman99 sent you in the referral code.<br />
<br />
Any questions just ask in the comments below?<br />
<br />
Thanks for reading guys and hope this gives you a little helping hand this holiday season or helps you when you get a pack busting urge. God Bless and stay warm!<br />

<img src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTE1NFg4Njk=/z/6zoAAOSwPe1UFnzY/$_57.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Ahhhhh rookie cards. One of the prides and joys of my collection. So what's so special about this one you ask. Well silly, it's Mike Trout, only one of the young and brightest baseball stars in this day and age. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Wait a minute though, what's so special about this one? Why wouldn't you just insert this Mike Trout RC into your Rookie Card Challenge instead? </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="Mike-Trout-2011-Bowman-Draft-True-Rookie-Card-101-Anaheim-Angels-RC" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzMzWDUyNA==/z/~k0AAOSwEppUPBUc/$_12.JPG" height="320" width="228" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Well I am glad you asked mysterious voice in my head. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<ol>
<li>This Mike Trout is a little more common than the Topps one at the top.</li>
<li>Topps makes much more rookie cards than Bowman does.</li>
<li>Who doesn't love retro jersey's?</li>
</ol>
Ok seriously though, let me get down to what this post is all about.<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I love rookie cards.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It's kind of hard not to.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The top prospect, the no-namer, and my personal favorite, the underdog.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have been doing this project for awhile now and basically what I am attempting to accomplish is to collect all the rookie cards registered, dating back to 2010.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Why 2010 you ask? I chose 2010 because that was basically my inception into the hobby and it is an even number. I like even numbers.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I choose to collect the Topps Rookie Card first of any player generally because if the player ever becomes a "somebody" the Topps flagship issue of the card is typically the one that becomes the most iconic towards the player.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Also, Topps Flagship are much more easy to obtain than say Topps Finest.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
To make this easier to comprehend I'll give you some examples with the use of pictures.</div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTMyWDEyNDk=/z/hYIAAOSwPe1T5SZk/$_57.JPG" height="149" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="200" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Yes</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img alt="2010-Bowman-Prospects-BP10-Aroldis-Chapman-Reds" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzA0WDUwNA==/z/pcIAAOSwcu5UPsEF/$_12.JPG" height="200" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="143" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">No</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I love prospects cards as well, but I'll elaborate on that in a different post. Yet the distinguishing factor in this battle is that one is a rookie card and one is a prospect card.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<img alt="2011-BB-Topps-Lineage-148-Aroldis-Chapman-RC-NM-MT" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MzM5WDI0Nw==/z/bw0AAOxyPKNTly~9/$_12.JPG" height="200" width="145" /><img alt="2011-Topps-Allen-and-Ginter-5-Aroldis-Chapman-RC-Reds-A2992" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzI1WDU0NQ==/z/34wAAOSwPe1UFM5G/$_12.JPG" height="200" width="150" /><img alt="2011-Topps-Gypsy-Queen-98-Aroldis-Chapman-RC-Reds-A2928" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzQ4WDU0OA==/z/9J4AAOSwRLZUFMUh/$_12.JPG" height="200" width="146" /><img alt="2011-Topps-Heritage-199-Aroldis-Chapman-RC-Reds-A3024" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzM1WDUzNA==/z/TOcAAOSwQItUFM5c/$_12.JPG" height="200" width="145" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All Nopes</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Since Mr.Chapman here already had a Topps Flagship card produced of him above, these are then all irrelevant.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
A couple more examples before I go.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="2011-Topps-Update-US23-Chance-Ruffin-RC-NM-MT" height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzAxWDUwNA==/z/l9IAAOSwfcVUHA0V/$_12.JPG" width="143" /><img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODQ3WDYwMA==/z/MQwAAOxyEqNTlkfA/$_57.JPG" width="141" /></div>
<br />
Poor Chance Ruffin. He had to play for 2 teams in his rookie year. In this case, both these cards make it into the collection because he is featured as a rookie card on two different teams.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODM0WDYwNA==/z/iwMAAOSwVFlUHAqv/$_57.JPG" width="144" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I hate this. Although it is clearly Mr.Alvarez's first card ever produced of him, Topps just couldn't take the time to slap on a rookie card to make it official. Stupid lazy people at Topps. Sadly this one makes it into the collection as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I hope this explanatory post helped. There are a few odds and ends that I didn't touch on, but I hope everybody better understands my massive project. If you think you can help me click that lab above and comment below if you have any that I may need. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Thanks for stopping by and God Bless! </div>
</div>

Yet, even with the increased activity outside of my sports cards world, I have to continued to keep chugging along.<br />
<br />
I have been going with this blog too long to give up now, and I don't think I could ever bid farewell to sure a great community of bloggers we have going around here.<br />
<br />
Although, I have decided to continue with the hobby that I love, going forward, I will definitely need a renewed source of motivation for my collection. Topps lately has just not been cutting it for me. I can't even tell you how long it have been since I have last bought some new cards. 3 week? 1 month? 4 months? To be honest it has been awhile.<br />
<br />
I know for sure I will continue my Rookie Card Challenge which I will thoroughly elaborate about more in a different post, but don't be surprised if you see some changes to my collecting styles and to the blog as well in the near future.<br />
<br />
Right now though, I'm really on the search for some good candidates for some new player collections. So if you guys have any good ideas I would surely love to hear them.<br />
<br />
Although you might not see the changes for an extended period of time, I will get to it eventually once soccer season finally comes to a close.<br />
<br />
Mostly this post was meant to tell you guys out there (if anybody even decides to read this) that I am still alive and well, and I plan to be back and better than even come this winter.<br />
<br />
Well I'll see you around guys. Thank you so much for your continued support and remember to keep on chugging along.<br />

Time is always moving and never slows down even for the most important moments in our lives.<br />
<br />
School started up this past week and I wasn't too disappointed. Yet was has been disappointing is my activity on my blog. It has been very quiet. I have a feeling it won't change any time soon because of the resent resurgence of both school and soccer, but I will try to make my best effort to be at least a little bit more active.<br />
<br />
One thing that time has not stopped me from doing though is trading. As we all know trading is probably the best part of the blogging community. I know I enjoy it very much, so without further or due, here is what I have been up to lately.<br />
<br />
<br />
First off we will begin with a trader outside of the blogosphere, freddyb from over on the forums at Blowout Cards sent me some much needed help with my 2013 Topps Update Set.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA0OFg3MzY=/z/mEUAAOxyYTRSZ0Pk/$T2eC16dHJGwFFZN8)ONKBSZ0PjbF!w~~60_57.JPG" width="140" /><img height="140" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzM2WDEwNDk=/z/udQAAOxyfDZSZz-C/$(KGrHqJ,!mIFJIC8,s3MBSZz-B3d8g~~60_57.JPG" width="200" /><img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAzN1g3NDk=/z/uMUAAOxyA9dSaI~F/$T2eC16hHJF0FFZkN,5E5BS,I+E1Zzw~~60_57.JPG" width="144" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Those were just a few, but thank you freddyb for your help. I really like that Michael Young.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Next we have everybody's favorite Angels fan, <a href="http://angelsinorder.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">Tom</span></a>. <a href="http://angelsinorder.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">Tom</span></a> from over at <a href="http://angelsinorder.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">Angels in Order</span></a> assisted me in finishing my 2014 Bowman Cardinals Team Set, but he didn't stop there, he also sent me an auto that is very near and dear to my heart of Joe Kelly.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA0MFg3Mjg=/z/p6oAAMXQpPhTjo-5/$_57.JPG" width="140" /><img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA0MFg3Mjg=/z/KhwAAOSwFL9Tt5fn/$_57.JPG" width="140" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://img.comc.com/i/Baseball/2011/Bowman-Draft-Picks--Prospects-Retail-Prospects-Certified-Autographs-Autographed/BPA-JK/Joe-Kelly.jpg?id=a21703a8-13bb-4dd3-b98a-4253868809ee&size=zoom" width="227" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Although he did get dealt over to the dark side, in this case being the Red Sox. I still love the practical jokester and up-and-coming pitcher in Joe Kelly. I truly wish he was still with the Cardinals. Stupid John Mozeliak. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And last but not least, <a href="http://yadiermolinabaseballcards.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">Brady</span></a> from over at <a href="http://yadiermolinabaseballcards.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">Yadier Molina Baseball Cards</span></a> bombed me with a massive package of Cardinals, including these two beauties. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="YADIER-MOLINA-2014-Topps-Allen-And-Ginter-Relics-Game-Used-Jersey-YM-Cardinals" height="240" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NTc4WDc3MQ==/z/JQMAAOSwxCxT1xtn/$_12.JPG" width="320" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
When I thought it couldn't get any better....</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="400" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIyN1g4Nzk=/z/0VYAAOSwDk5T3SPS/$_57.JPG" width="286" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It did. I was in awe when I saw the Yadi and when I saw the Kaminsky, my jaw dropped. Brady seriously outdid himself and I will definitely be in debt to him for quite some time. Rob has been pitching to a fine 1.83 ERA in Class A Full Season Peoria. Now that's what I call a future star.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Well thank you to all who trading with me. If I missed you, I am very sorry. Thanks for reading and God Bless. Superduperman out.</div>

Most of which have been very beneficial to my collection. So enough with all the blabbing, let's get to the trades.<br />
<br />
First package comes courtesy of <a href="http://cootvealandthevealtones.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: blue;">Coot Veal and The Vealtones</span></a>, who sent me this mighty fine Charlie Tilson auto my way.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA1Mlg3NTI=/z/scUAAOxydgZTGf90/$_57.JPG" width="227" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Charlie was drafted in the 2nd round in the 2011 Draft and has been playing in A+ Palm Beach with a .309 average, 5 home runs, and 39 RBI's. He sounds like we might see him in a Cardinal uniform late next year with those kinds of numbers.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Next up while I was listing to some great Vealtones I decided to pick up some Nachos to eat. This triplet of Cardinals come courtesy of <a href="http://fanofreds.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">Nachos Grande</span></a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODQ3WDYwMA==/z/2vAAAOxy5DtTl-U4/$_57.JPG" width="141" /><img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODQ0WDYwMA==/z/FnUAAOSwewJTmA8A/$_57.JPG" width="142" /><img alt="2012-Panini-Elite-Extra-Edition-Anthony-Melchionda-Baseball-card-87-Cardinals" height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzA0WDQ5OQ==/z/1xAAAOSwEK9TyHLQ/$_12.JPG" width="141" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Drafted in the 4th, 9th, and 14th round respectively, these Cardinals have had themselves some success in the minors. Alex has split the year between A+ Palm Beach, and AA Springfield with a .285 average which isn't half bad. Rowan on the other hand is killing it in A Short State College with a .378 average, 14 home runs, and 38 runs batted in. And to end on a sour note, Anthony hasn't played baseball since 2012 so I don't see him in a Cardinals uniform any time soon.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And while I was listening to my Vealtones and eating my Nachos, I decided to check out some Dime Boxes to find some great deals. These great cards came courtesy of Nick over at <a href="http://baseballdimebox.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: blue;">Dime Boxes</span></a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA1Mlg3MzY=/z/yjQAAOSwGzlTxyYW/$_57.JPG" width="139" /><img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA1Mlg3NTY=/z/wFYAAOSwFL9TuY77/$_57.JPG" width="143" /><img height="200" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA0OVg3NjA=/z/TzsAAMXQeW5TXsU7/$_57.JPG" width="144" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
That is a sweet Yadi rookie. No other way to put it. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have no clue who Jose Cruz is, but I love me some Cardinals vintage. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And the 2014 Opening Day Blue Parallels have come a far way from where the were in 2011. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Well thanks for stopping by everybody. Thank you once again to all who traded with me I hope everybody has a great day. Thanks for reading!</div>

Sometimes I wish the back of a box of baseball cards had a "flavor guide" like a box of Russell Stover's has now. You pick up a pack and the guide tells you exactly what will be inside. Yet other times I just love that mystery of opening baseball cards and never knowing what you are about to open up.<br />
<br />
This time was one of those times where I love the mystery.<br />
<br />
The other day to celebrate our nation's independence, my friend and I went out and bought some boxes of cards. Although it was a product from a few years ago, 2008 Upper Deck Timeline, quenched our pack ripping thirst just fine with a guaranteed relic per box as shown on the blaster here.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="320" src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6012/5999484089_83ce1b2e5d.jpg" width="215" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Luckily for us though we only had to pay $10 per box. And as my Spanish teacher would always say, "Que ganga. What a bargain!" And as you'll later find out we got an absolute steal for these boxes.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/23/!Bp0l0UgBWk~$(KGrHqEH-DcEubC90f+FBLtBuCe7QQ~~_12.JPG" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="226" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The Captain</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img height="320" src="http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODQwWDU5Mw==/z/h2QAAMXQ74JTUanB/$_57.JPG" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="225" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"> Future Cy Young Award Winner<span style="text-align: left;"> </span><span style="text-align: left;"> </span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
And that was about as exciting as it got with the base cards. Now onto my guaranteed "hit".<div>
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

Awful photo I know, but when you don't have a scanner, you'll take what you can get. Anyways, I bet you're are asking how is this a steal? Let me show you why this box was considered a steal.</div>

The man with the audacity to drop the F-Bomb on national television. And that ladies and gentlemen is what I call a steal.<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I am very glad that Russell Stover's doesn't make baseball cards because I would know exactly what I am going to get and there is definitely no fun in that Thanks for reading everybody and I hope you all had an amazing Fourth of July. I know I did!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
